The invention belongs to the technical field of building construction, and particularly relates to a novel ultralight high-strength composite formwork supporting system which comprises a bearing formwork, a composite supporting beam arranged on the lower surface of the bearing formwork, a lower supporting column arranged on the lower side of the composite supporting beam and a bearing scaffold located on the lower side of the lower supporting column. Wherein the lower supporting column is perpendicular to the composite supporting beam, the composite supporting beam comprises a hollow steel pipe and a wooden beam inserted into the steel pipe, the two ends of the wooden beam extend to the outer portion of the steel pipe, and the outer wall of the wooden beam is wrapped with a reinforcing wrapping ring. The steel ladle wood (namely the composite supporting beam) can keep the basic structural strength of the steel ladle wood through combined use of conventional steel pipes and wooden beams, the side edge plates are arranged on the side edges of the steel pipes, the side edge plates are connected with the lower surfaces of the bearing formworks through the connecting nails, the wooden beams of the steel ladle wood are protected, and the service life of the steel ladle wood is prolonged. The steel ladle wood structure can be used repeatedly, and damage to the steel ladle wood structure is avoided.
