Temporary building edge safety screen support
A support for a safety net near an edge of a floor of a building under construction; the supporting piece comprises a supporting column extending between the upper support and the lower support. According to another generalized form of the invention, a method of installing a safety net near an exposed edge of a building in construction is provided; the method comprises the following steps: driving fixing bolts into the lower side of an adjacent higher floor slab and into a safety net supporting floor slab; fixing bolts for fixing the upper and lower brackets to the higher floor slabs and to the safety net support floor slabs, respectively; and fixing the upper end of a safety net support column to the upper bracket and fixing the lower end of the safety net support column to the lower bracket.
