The preparation method comprises the following steps: S1, preparing raw materials; s2, crushing peach gum, sieving the crushed peach gum with a 80-100-mesh sieve, adding the sieved peach gum into the matrix asphalt, and adding nano-silica, polyvinyl acetate and water at the same time to obtain a mixed system; s3, stirring the mixed system for 30-45 minutes at a high speed under the condition of 110-115 DEG C to obtain modified asphalt; s4, mixing the cement, the silica fume, the river sand, the granite, the basalt fiber and the carboxylic acid water reducing agent, and adding the modified asphalt while stirring until the materials are uniformly mixed, so as to obtain concrete slurry; and S5, pouring the concrete slurry into a trench cover plate mold, uniformly vibrating, and carrying out the steps of curing and demolding to obtain the highway trench cover plate. The modified asphalt is added into the concrete, so that the toughness and the mechanical property of the cover plate are improved at the same time.
