The invention provides a collection and drainage system for solving side slope water gushing and a construction method, a water gushing prevention structure comprises a water catchment pool, the bottom surface of the water catchment pool is located on an excavated collapse slope surface, an inverted filter layer is arranged in the pool, the water catchment pool is provided with a water collection port and a water catchment port, the water collection port faces the upstream of a water gushing side slope, and the water catchment port is connected with a guide and drainage pipe. The drainage guide pipe corresponds to the inverted filter layer, a filter screen is arranged on a water inlet of the drainage guide pipe, a water outlet of the drainage guide pipe extends to the slope bottom, and the water seepage wall and the muck layer are arranged above the water collecting pool. The construction method comprises the following steps: (1) excavating a collapsed slope surface; (2) arranging the water collecting pool; (3) arranging the water seepage wall; (4) laying the guide and discharge pipe; the catchment pool, the water seepage wall and the drainage guide pipe are arranged at the water gushing point to guide the gushing water of the side slope to the bottom of the slope, muck and vegetation are arranged, the shape of the side slope is recovered while water is stabilized and the slope is fixed, and the method has the advantages of being low in cost, high in applicability, stable in slope body, attractive in slope shape, ecological and efficient.
