The invention relates to the technical field of building construction, in particular to a ceramic tile soaking device and method.The ceramic tile soaking device comprises a water pool, a bearing component, a ceramic tile containing frame and a soaking component, the ceramic tile containing frame can be placed on the bearing component, and the bearing component is arranged above the water pool; wherein the ceramic tile placing frame comprises a plurality of accommodating grooves for vertically placing ceramic tiles, two ceramic tiles in one accommodating groove are placed back to back, so that the blank surfaces of the ceramic tiles face each other, and a gap formed between the two ceramic tiles is defined as an inter-tile gap. Compared with the prior art that the ceramic tile is soaked in a whole water pool or a water tank, the ceramic tile is soaked in the porous elastic body capable of absorbing water, the soaking mode can enable the blank face of the ceramic tile to absorb water more uniformly, the influence of floating dust on the surface of the ceramic tile can be avoided, and the service life of the ceramic tile is prolonged. The flowing water is utilized to ensure that the blank surface of the tile has water pressure so as to improve the water absorption rate of the blank surface of the tile.
