The invention relates to the technical field of scaffolds, and discloses a suspension type scaffold which comprises two hanging plates, first grooves are formed in the front portions and the rear portions of the left sides and the right sides of the hanging plates correspondingly, the lower surfaces of the interiors of the first grooves communicate with the outside, and the interiors of the first grooves are rotationally connected with rotating plates through first rotating rods; according to the suspension type scaffold, when the suspension type scaffold is used and collides with a wall surface, buffering can be conducted through the buffering assembly, and a worker located in the suspension type scaffold cannot feel serious shaking; therefore, operation of workers is not affected, the safety of the suspension type scaffold is improved, meanwhile, when the suspension type scaffold is used, transverse splicing can be conveniently conducted through the splicing assemblies to increase the use area, and therefore the suspension type scaffold can meet more use requirements in use and is high in practicability.
