Honeycomb cordierite carrier and preparation method thereof
The invention discloses a honeycomb cordierite carrier and a preparation method thereof. The honeycomb cordierite carrier prepared by the method comprises a honeycomb cordierite matrix and an aluminum oxide coating, surface particles of the aluminum oxide coating are worm-shaped, the length is about 80-200nm, the diameter is about 20-50nm, and the worm-shaped particles are stacked to form 10-100nm pores. On the basis of the weight of the carrier, the content of the aluminum oxide coating is 8wt%-25wt%. The preparation method of the honeycomb-shaped cordierite carrier comprises the following steps: (1) coating the surface of honeycomb-shaped cordierite with aluminum sol, and drying and roasting the coated material to prepare cordierite containing an aluminum oxide coating; and (2) immersing the cordierite containing the aluminum oxide coating in the step (1) into an epoxypropane solution for sealed hydrothermal treatment, and drying and roasting the material after the hydrothermal treatment to obtain the honeycomb cordierite carrier. Wormlike particles are arranged on the surface of the honeycomb cordierite carrier coating, the formed stacked pore channel structure is appropriate, and the honeycomb cordierite carrier coating has wide application prospects in reactions such as flue gas denitration and catalytic combustion.
