A hinge assembly (2) and a refrigerator (100) to which the hinge assembly (2) is mounted, the hinge assembly (2) comprising: a metal hinge member (10) having a plate-shaped portion (12) and a hinge (14) erected from the plate-shaped portion (12); a resin hinge joint member (20) having a joint part joined to the plate-shaped part (12); and an electronic device (30, 32, 34) with wiring (36), which is mounted on the upper surface of the hinge joint member (20), and which includes at least a door switch circuit board (30); when the hinge assembly (2) is mounted on the refrigerator main body (50), the plate-shaped portion (12) is fixed to the refrigerator main body (50), and a part of the hinge joint member (20) is disposed between the plate-shaped portion (12) and the refrigerator main body (50).
