The invention discloses an ecological management structure for a water level variable-amplitude area of an urban riverside zone. The ecological management structure comprises a waterside bank fixing ornamental area, a diversified vegetation biological conservation area and a high-water-level embankment flood prevention area from the near to the distant in the spatial layout. The near-water bank-fixing scenic area is gentle in terrain and is located at the nearest position of a river, and a near-water retaining wall and a near-water guardrail are arranged in the near-water area. Landscape stones are laid in the areas, except for the water-near guardrails, of the water-near bank-fixing ornamental area. The diversified vegetation biological conservation area has a slope, planting grooves used for slope protection are laid on the slope surface, soil is filled in the planting grooves, and hygrophytes are planted in the planting grooves. The high-water-level embankment flood prevention area is located above the high water level, colorful flowers and trees are planted in the high-water-level embankment flood prevention area, and an embankment protection flood prevention wall is arranged at the joint of the high-water-level embankment flood prevention area and the diversified vegetation biological conservation area. The ecological management structure provides inhabitation space for various aquatic organisms, also provides recreation space for urban residents, and gives consideration to ecological improvement and environment improvement of urban inland riverside zone management.
