The flood drainage vehicle comprises a primary vehicle and a secondary vehicle, the secondary vehicle comprises a drainage pump and a liquid level sensor, and the control method for the flood drainage vehicle comprises the steps that a high liquid level signal of the liquid level sensor is responded, and the drainage pump is adjusted to a preset working position; sending the rotating speed increasing instruction to a drainage pump; a low liquid level signal of the liquid level sensor is responded, and a rotating speed decreasing instruction is sent to the drainage pump; and under the condition that the low liquid level signal is not obtained within the first duration, the drainage pump is controlled to stop. When the sub-vehicle of the drainage vehicle performs drainage operation, the rotating speed of the drainage pump is gradually reduced to the second running rotating speed, and then the drainage pump is controlled to stop, so that the drainage pump is prevented from being damaged due to drastic change of the rotating speed of the drainage pump within a short time. Meanwhile, the rotating speed of the drainage pump is reduced to the second running rotating speed in advance, and the drainage pump can be controlled to stop in time.
