The invention relates to an assembly type steel structure frame for a green and environment-friendly building. Longitudinal steel frames are arranged between every two adjacent supporting steel frames on the left and right sides of the top of a base, and transverse steel frames are arranged between every two adjacent supporting steel frames on the front and back sides of the top of the base; first inserting grooves are formed in the tops of the four inserting plates, second inserting grooves are formed in one sides of the top ends of the supporting steel frames, the inserting plates are inserted into the supporting steel frames through the first inserting grooves and the second inserting grooves, and the transverse steel frames and the longitudinal steel frames are located at the tops of the inserting plates and used for supporting the transverse steel frames and the longitudinal steel frames. The fixing mechanism is arranged at the top of the supporting steel frame and used for fixing the transverse steel frame, the longitudinal steel frame and the inserting plate to the supporting steel frame at the same time, so that installation is convenient.
