The invention provides an aluminum veneer curtain wall and a mounting method thereof, the aluminum veneer curtain wall comprises a frame-shaped keel and a plurality of aluminum veneers, the frame-shaped keel is formed by crosswise and fixedly connecting longitudinal beams and cross beams, and each aluminum veneer comprises a panel, a turnup vertically and fixedly connected to the peripheral edge of the panel and a folded edge formed by folding the turnup towards the inner side of the panel; the aluminum single plates are laid on the surface of the keel and connected with one another, the intersection point of every four adjacent aluminum single plates is located at the intersection point of the longitudinal beam and the cross beam, the aluminum single plate curtain wall further comprises a connecting assembly arranged on the cross beam, and the connecting assembly comprises a lead screw, a first nut, a second nut, a first pressing piece and a second pressing piece. The first pressing piece and the second pressing piece can move horizontally relative to each other so as to enter the position between the panel and the folded edge and press the folded edge. The aluminum veneer can be firmly fixed to the surface of the keel while it is guaranteed that no gap exists after the aluminum veneer is installed, the risk that the aluminum veneer is disengaged from the keel due to deformation of the aluminum veneer caused by pressing the turned-over edge is avoided, and the stability of the connecting structure of the aluminum veneer and the keel is improved.
