The invention discloses an ultra-thin colored pavement material for a steel structure pedestrian bridge deck and a preparation method thereof, and relates to the field of engineering materials.The ultra-thin colored pavement material for the steel structure pedestrian bridge deck is integrally formed and sequentially comprises a finishing coat, an anti-skid wear-resistant layer and a priming coat from bottom to top; and the anti-skid wear-resistant layer is made of modified water-borne epoxy resin mortar. According to the ultrathin colored pavement material for the steel structure pedestrian bridge deck, the water-borne epoxy resin mortar is adopted as the anti-skid wear-resistant layer, multiple layers of materials are combined and integrally formed, the requirements for temperature deformation, water resistance and corrosion resistance of the steel bridge deck are met, the pendulum type friction coefficient in anti-skid indexes is not smaller than 70 BPN, and the pavement material has the advantages that the pavement material is environmentally friendly; the sand paving method pavement structure depth index ranges from 0.7 mm to 1.2 mm, and the pavement has excellent aging resistance and color retention performance and can be applied to pavement of light-load traffic steel bridge decks such as pedestrian steel bridges and bicycle special road steel bridges.
