The invention relates to the technical field of floor drain equipment, in particular to a drainage floor drain and an installation method thereof.The drainage floor drain comprises a floor drain body and an embedded part used for fixing the floor drain body in a veneer in a hidden mode; the embedded part comprises an embedded part used for being connected between a facing and a base layer in an embedded mode and a connecting part used for being connected with the floor drain body. The floor drain body sequentially comprises a threaded cylinder matched with the connecting part and a floor drain cavity in threaded connection with the threaded cylinder from top to bottom, and a water seal part used for transferring sewage into the floor drain cavity and preventing odor return is arranged on the inner side of the threaded cylinder; wherein a sealing clamping piece is arranged at the joint of the connecting part, the threaded cylinder and the floor drain cavity, the sealing clamping piece comprises a first protruding part and a second protruding part, and the first protruding part is connected with the second protruding part through a bearing part. The structures of all parts of the drainage floor drain are convenient to assemble and can be easily disassembled and cleaned, the attractiveness of a veneer can be improved, and high sealing performance of the connecting position is guaranteed while easy disassembly is achieved.
