The invention discloses a process for preparing a special silicon carbide castable for an incinerator. The process comprises the following steps: S1, selecting materials: silicon powder, graphite powder and an inorganic adhesive; s2, mixing the raw materials: selecting high-purity silicon powder and graphite powder as raw materials, and screening and mixing the raw materials; s3, adding a binder: adding a proper amount of an inorganic binder into the mixed raw materials, and uniformly stirring to obtain a forming material; s4, forming: performing compression forming on the formed material, wherein an extrusion or compression forming mode is generally adopted; s5, drying: drying the formed material to remove moisture and organic matters in the material; the use amount of the graphite powder is increased, a special forming process is adopted, after forming, low-temperature drying and carbonization are performed, cracks of the product are effectively avoided, and the strength and heat resistance of the material can be improved through holding of the inert atmosphere.
