The invention discloses a side slope protection net and a river levee side slope reinforcing structure, and relates to the technical field of side slope protection. The protective net comprises a protective net body, a plurality of connecting cylinders are installed at the edge of the protective net body in an array mode, butt joint grooves are formed in the tops of the connecting cylinders in a circular array mode, and inserting plates used for being inserted into the butt joint grooves are constructed at the bottoms of the connecting cylinders in a circular array mode; and the locking piece is mounted on the connecting cylinder. Compared with a traditional installation protective net, when the two protective nets are fixed through the device, rapid installation between the two protective nets can be achieved only through the linkage assembly, use is convenient, and therefore the working efficiency is improved, and when a slope slides, rolling soil applies pressure to the protective nets in the protective nets, the protective nets are not prone to falling off, and the protective nets are not prone to falling off.
