The invention discloses a hydraulic auxiliary driving system of a road roller, a control method and the road roller, and relates to the technical field of hydraulic transmission and control. The hydraulic pump is sequentially connected with the first electromagnetic directional valve, the rear wheel motor, the second electromagnetic directional valve and the first electromagnetic directional valve through an oil way to form a rear drive loop. The second electromagnetic directional valve and the front wheel motor form a circulation loop through an oil way so that the second electromagnetic directional valve can be combined with the rear drive loop to form a double-drive loop after the working position of the second electromagnetic directional valve is changed, and the hydraulic pump, the first electromagnetic directional valve and the second electromagnetic directional valve are all controlled by the controller. The switching among a rear-drive mode, a double-drive mode, a forward mode and a backward mode can be realized; and in the double-drive mode, the rotating speed difference between the front wheel and the rear wheel does not need to be judged, an overflow valve does not need to be used for pressure stabilization, back-and-forth switching in the existing mode is avoided, and good system stability and driving comfort are achieved.
