The device comprises the steps that an anti-smashing ground sensor is arranged below a vehicle stop; if the vehicle detection device comprises a vehicle stop and allows the vehicle to drive in and out, the vehicle driving-in side and the vehicle driving-out side of the vehicle stop are each provided with a trigger ground sensor; if the vehicle detection device comprises a vehicle stop and only allows the vehicle to drive in or out, a trigger ground sensor is arranged on the vehicle driving-in side or the vehicle driving-out side of the vehicle stop; if the vehicle detection device comprises two vehicle stoppers, a trigger ground sensor is arranged between the two vehicle stoppers; the ground sensor collector detects the detection result of the vehicle in the place where the vehicle detection device is located according to the pressing signals sent by the trigger ground sensor and the anti-smashing ground sensor, the occupied length of the vehicle detection device is reduced while system misjudgment is reduced and the vehicle passing efficiency is improved, and the application range of the vehicle detection device is expanded.
