The invention relates to a working machine having a working device for generating a working movement; a motor (5) for driving the work device; an electric energy store (10) for supplying current to the electric motor; and a cooling device for cooling the energy store (10); wherein the cooling device has at least one ventilator device (15) for generating a cooling air flow (16) that can be conducted through the energy store (10); wherein at least one temperature sensor (26) is provided for detecting the temperature; and wherein a control device (25) is provided for controlling the ventilator device (15) as a function of the temperature detected by the temperature sensor (26).
