The invention relates to a veneer concrete structure and a construction method thereof. The single-plate concrete structure comprises a base plate, a stand column, a reinforcing mesh, a restraining piece and a concrete pouring body. The stand columns are prefabricated on the base plate. And the reinforcing mesh is erected on the base plate. The restraining piece is connected between the two stand columns and located on the upper portion of the reinforcing mesh. The stand columns, the restraining pieces and the reinforcing mesh are all poured into the concrete pouring body. The stand columns are connected with the restraining pieces to replace tie bars, the stand columns are prefabricated to the base plate in a factory, only the restraining pieces need to be connected during on-site installation, and the on-site construction amount is small. In addition, due to the fact that the restraining pieces are fixedly connected with the stand columns, the restraining effect on the reinforcing mesh is good, and meanwhile the shear capacity of the single-plate concrete structure can be guaranteed.
