The invention relates to a tropical region vegetation community slope protection method which comprises the following steps: step 1, seed selection: selecting plant species which have tropical region characteristics and are suitable for tropical region growth, and uniformly mixing the grass species into mixed grass species; step 2, trimming a side slope; step 3, sowing the activated bacillus pasteurii, mixing the bacillus pasteurii with a cacl2 solution and a urea solution; 4, hanging a net anchor rod; step 5, sowing; sowing the mixed grass seeds on the side slope; step 6, cloth and soil covering; and step 7, reseeding and later maintenance. The formula of the grass seeds is as follows: (1) shrubs: rhododendron dentate, amorpha fruticosa, bougainvillea speetabilis and rhodomyrtus tomentosa; (2) herbs: bermuda grass, carpet grass and zoysia japonica; (3) arbor: acacia mangium. A special vegetation scheme is designed for the tropical region, water and soil loss can be effectively prevented, and soil fixation and moisture preservation can be achieved; the preparation formula is configured for the tropical region, the slope protection structure is more environmentally friendly, the planting speed is higher, and the efficiency is higher.
