The invention discloses a well lid locking structure which comprises a lid body, a well lid base and a locking assembly. A locking groove with an outward opening is formed in the outer side portion of the cover body, and the cover body is arranged on the well lid base. A mounting groove with an inward opening is formed in the inner side part of the well lid seat, and the mounting groove is opposite to the locking groove; the locking assembly comprises a locking seat and a limiting piece, a protruding part and a sunken part are formed on the side portion of the locking seat, the locking seat is rotatably arranged on the mounting groove so that the protruding part can be located on the locking groove or not located on the locking groove, and when the protruding part is not located on the locking groove, the sunken part does not make contact with the locking groove; the limiting piece is arranged on the locking base and the well lid base so as to prevent the locking base from rotating. The invention further discloses a well lid locking method. After the cover body is arranged on the well lid base, the locking base and the limiting piece are arranged, the locking base is limited by the limiting piece, and therefore the locking base can be effectively prevented from rotating, and the cover body is not prone to being separated from the well lid base.
