The invention relates to the technical field of building construction, in particular to wall positioning equipment for an assembly type building and a using method thereof.The wall positioning equipment comprises a base used for supporting a wall, and the base is provided with a plug pin used for being inserted into the ground, a positioning plate for the side portion of the wall to abut against and a plurality of limiting mechanisms sequentially arranged in the thickness direction of the wall; the positioning plate is used for being clamped on a wall together with the limiting mechanism; each limiting mechanism comprises an elastic unit allowing the bottom of the wall to be pressed downwards to deform and a storage unit used for storing fluid, and in every two adjacent limiting mechanisms, the storage unit in the limiting mechanism close to the positioning plate communicates with the elastic unit in the limiting mechanism far away from the positioning plate through the flow guide unit. The assembly type building can be quickly positioned, disassembled and assembled.
