The rockfall protection device of the suspension bridge comprises a flexible shed tunnel and at least three connecting assemblies used for connecting the flexible shed tunnel and the end face of a tunnel exit, and the connecting assemblies are arranged in the width direction of the flexible shed tunnel at intervals; the connecting assembly comprises a steel pipe arranged on the flexible shed tunnel; the sliding rods are sleeved with the steel pipes and slidably connected with the steel pipes, and limiting plates are arranged at the ends, away from the flexible shed tunnel, of the sliding rods; a hollow sleeve is arranged on the connecting rod, an opening allowing the limiting plate to penetrate through is formed in the end, away from the connecting rod, of the sleeve, and a baffle used in cooperation with the limiting plate and used for limiting and restraining the axial displacement of the limiting plate is arranged at the opening. Compared with the prior art, the rockfall protection device for the suspension bridge can be used for rockfall protection of the suspension bridge and can meet the displacement requirements of longitudinal bridge direction displacement, up-down displacement and left-right deflection displacement of a bridge body.
