The lifting supporting assembly comprises a lifting supporting wheel, a lifting supporting arm and a lifting driving device. The transportation function of the wallboard erecting machine is achieved through the auxiliary power wheel and the lifting supporting wheel; the plate frame mechanism comprises a first plate frame, a third plate frame and a claw clamping structure; the first plate frame is hinged to the rack, and the first turnover driving device is used for driving the first plate frame to rotate relative to the rack; the third grillage is hinged to the first grillage, and the second turnover driving device is used for driving the third grillage to rotate relative to the first grillage; the claw clamping structure is used for clamping the wall plate and fixing the wall plate on the third plate frame; the invention further discloses a wallboard erecting method using the wallboard erecting machine.
