The invention provides rock wool based on drilling cuttings as well as a preparation method and application of the rock wool. The preparation raw materials comprise rock debris subjected to de-throwing treatment and modification treatment, a binder and a water repellent, the drilling cuttings adopt water-based drilling fluid drilling cuttings and/or oil-based drilling fluid drilling cuttings of deep stratums of more than 3000 meters, the binder is acrylic resin, and the water repellent is organic silicon; melting the drilling cuttings subjected to de-throwing and modification treatment to obtain a melt; drawing the melt into a fiber shape, and spraying a binder and a water repellent in the fiber forming process to obtain a rock wool primary felt; and then the rock wool primary felts are stacked layer by layer for pressing and curing, and a rock wool finished product is obtained. The rock wool prepared by the method is high in heat insulation property and good in water resistance, and can be used for preparing a rock wool board; and the problem of treatment of the waste drilling cuttings is solved, and good environmental protection significance is achieved.
本发明提出了一种基于钻屑的岩棉及其制备方法和应用；其制备原料包括：经脱甩处理和改性处理的岩屑、粘结剂和憎水剂；钻屑采用为3000米以上的深部地层的水基钻井液钻屑和/或油基钻井液钻屑，粘结剂为丙烯酸树脂，憎水剂为有机硅；将脱甩及改性处理后的钻屑进行熔化，得到熔体；将熔体牵拉成纤维形状，并在纤维成型的过程中喷入粘结剂和憎水剂，得到岩棉一次毡；再将岩棉一次毡逐层叠铺进行压制，固化得到岩棉成品。本发明制备的岩棉隔热性强、防水性好，可用于制备岩棉板；而且解决了废弃钻屑的处理问题，具有很好的环保意义。
