The invention discloses a coating for a stirring paddle rod. The coating comprises raw materials and a binding agent, the raw materials comprise a main raw material and a secondary raw material, the main raw material adopts M60 sintered mullite or three-grade alumina, and the secondary raw material comprises flint clay, alabaster, silicon carbide, kyanite and silica powder; the binding agent accounts for 8-12wt% of the total weight of the raw materials. The coating for the stirring paddle rod not only can effectively prevent slag from being directly adhered to the surface of a paddle rod refractory material, but also can form a high-viscosity smooth surface under a high-temperature condition, slag removal equipment can quickly and easily remove the slag on the surface of the paddle rod, and meanwhile, the paddle rod refractory material is ensured to be intact and not damaged, so that the labor intensity of slag removal work is reduced, and the production efficiency is improved. The slag removal operation time is shortened, the paddle rod is prevented from being damaged, the service life of the stirring paddle is prolonged, and the consumption of refractory materials is reduced.
