The embodiment of the invention provides a monitoring facility for foundation pit monitoring, which comprises a monitoring instrument body and further comprises a box body, the box body is of a top opening structure, a cover plate is movably arranged at the opening, and the monitoring instrument body is arranged in the box body; the multiple sets of mounting assemblies are arranged at the bottom of the box body in a rectangular array mode and used for leveling and supporting the whole box body; and the adjusting assembly is arranged in the box body, is connected with the monitoring instrument body and is used for performing multidirectional adjustment on the position of the monitoring instrument body. The invention provides a monitoring facility for foundation pit monitoring and a monitoring method thereof, and solves the problems that in the prior art, a monitoring box is placed unstably, and a monitoring instrument body cannot quickly adjust the monitoring angle.
