The invention discloses a mechanical hole forming method for a rectangular pile with a horizontal cantilever capable of expanding and drilling, which comprises the following steps of: combining a plurality of drilling machines to form a rectangular structure corresponding to a rectangular pile hole in size; cylindrical drill assemblies, on the horizontal plane, in the multifunctional drill assemblies on all the drilling machines are controlled to drill and excavate the stratum downwards till the designed depth of the horizontal cantilever pile hole is reached; cylindrical drill assemblies on the vertical surface and the horizontal surface in the multifunctional drill assembly drill haunching holes towards the side part of the rectangular pile hole; a horizontal hydraulic cylinder is controlled to drive a cylindrical drill assembly on the vertical face in the multifunctional drill assembly to drill a horizontal cantilever pile hole outwards; and the cylindrical drill assembly on the horizontal plane in the multifunctional drill assembly continues to be controlled to vertically drill the stratum downwards to the designed depth of the rectangular pile hole so as to form a built-in section of the rectangular pile hole. The rectangular anti-slide pile drilling machine has the advantages that according to different sizes of rectangular pile holes, a corresponding number of drilling machines forming a rectangular structure are arranged on the rectangular anti-slide pile drilling machine so as to drill and dig the rectangular pile holes.
