The invention discloses a folding telescopic triangular bracket and a construction method thereof.The triangular bracket comprises a corbel, a vertical rod, an inclined rod, a chord member and a telescopic chord member, the lower end of the vertical rod is hinged to the upper portion of the corbel, a pin hole is formed in the lower section of the vertical rod, and the lower end of the inclined rod is hinged to the upper portion of the corbel; the rear portion of the lower side of the chord member is connected with one of the pin holes in the upper end of the vertical rod or the lower section of the vertical rod, the front portion of the lower side of the chord member is hinged to the upper end of the inclined rod, and the telescopic chord member and the front section of the chord member are slidably sleeved and positioned through a pin shaft. The construction method comprises the steps of pier column construction, bracket embedded part installation, bracket pull rod installation, bracket pre-pressing test, bracket hoisting, transverse connection installation between brackets, pull rod pre-tightening, installation of other parts and formworks of the support, structure construction, bracket dismantling, folding and warehousing and the like. The method has the characteristics of no need of on-site high-altitude welding, low construction difficulty, small potential safety hazard, short construction time, high cyclic utilization rate, lower cost, few scattered parts, easiness in storage and wide application range.
