The invention discloses a ballast railway track smoothness tamping method and system and a storable medium, and relates to the technical field of tamping construction, and the method comprises the following steps: taking a track control network as a support, utilizing an inertial navigation trolley to measure a track deviation value, and obtaining CP III measurement data; upgrading and transforming the GVA system of the tamping wagon, importing CP III measurement data into the transformed GVA system in batches, and guiding tamping operation; and track gauge adjustment is conducted based on the track gauge deviation value measured by the inertial navigation trolley, a track meeting the design requirement is obtained, and tamping operation is completed. According to the method, manual input of track lifting and lining data is not needed, manual input errors are avoided, the operation condition can be visually reflected through a graph and data comparison form, the construction efficiency is greatly improved, and the construction cost is effectively controlled.
