The invention discloses a multifunctional protective well lid which comprises a well base, a combined well lid body, a temporary protective rod and a lifting device. The well seat is square and is arranged on a foundation; well lid fixing buckles are arranged on the inner sides of the two long edges of the well base respectively. The combined well lid comprises well lid units arranged in sequence. Each well lid unit is formed by combining two isosceles right triangle well lids with the same size; each isosceles right triangle well lid is provided with a prying hole, a well lid fixing groove, a temporary protection rod fixing hole and an air hole. The well lid fixing grooves are matched with the well lid fixing buckles. The upper surface of the isosceles right triangle well lid is coated with warning paint; the lifting device is arranged on the well seat, and the top of the lifting device abuts against the combined well lid. The height of the combined well lid is adjusted through the lifting device. The invention further provides a using method of the multifunctional protective well lid. The height of the well lid can be adjusted, a protective warning mark is arranged after the well lid is opened, and a warning mark does not need to be additionally arranged.
