The invention belongs to the technical field of kiln tail preheating, and particularly relates to a novel dry process cement kiln discharge kiln tail preheating system which comprises a hollow heat exchange pipe, the two ends of the heat exchange pipe are connected with a discharge connector and an output port respectively, and the heat exchange pipe, the discharge connector and the output port are communicated; the heat exchange box is located in an inner cavity of the heat exchange pipe, the heat exchange box is in a hollow box body shape, connecting holes are formed in the two opposite side walls of the heat exchange box, connecting pipes are connected to the connecting holes of the heat exchange box, and the connecting pipes on the two side walls of the heat exchange box extend to the outer side of the heat exchange pipe. The connecting pipes on the two sides serve as an air inlet pipe and an air outlet pipe correspondingly. The heat exchange box is arranged in the heat exchange pipe, heat exchange between the heat exchange pipe and tail gas is promoted while normal flowing of the tail gas in the heat exchange pipe is not affected, and therefore the heat utilization rate can be increased, and the heat exchange box is directly arranged in the heat exchange pipe and is protected.
