The invention relates to the field of road and bridge slope protection, and discloses a slope greening structure and a method thereof.The slope greening structure comprises a plurality of mounting units arranged at intervals, each mounting unit comprises a supporting frame and a limiting frame, each supporting frame comprises a first supporting strip, a second supporting strip and a third supporting strip, the first supporting strips are attached to the surface of a slope, and the second supporting strips are attached to the surface of the slope; the first supporting strips are connected with a slope through anchor bolts, the rear ends of the second supporting strips are connected to the upper ends of the first supporting strips, the third supporting strips are connected with the second supporting strips and the first supporting strips, a supporting plate is placed between every two adjacent second supporting strips, and the limiting frame is arranged above the supporting frame and comprises a first pull rod and a connecting rod. A green covering assembly is correspondingly arranged on each supporting plate, each green covering assembly comprises a planting pot, a water outlet is formed in the side face of each planting pot, and a water drainage pipe is connected to each water outlet. The greening assembly is separated from the side slope structure by arranging the mounting unit, and the durability of the side slope structure is improved while side slope greening is achieved.
