According to the assembly type silo top supporting platform and the installation method, center barrel section frames are installed above a foundation base, the center barrel section frames are connected to form a center barrel, attachment parts are installed on the center barrel section frames at certain intervals, and when the center barrel section frames are installed to the designed height, top discs are installed at the upper ends of the center barrel section frames; an inclined supporting rod is arranged between the lower portion of the top disc and the center barrel section frame, a plurality of trusses are arranged between the edge of the top disc and an installation groove reserved in the top of the silo, and all the trusses are in a radial shape to form an umbrella rib shape. The installation method comprises the steps of foundation base installation, center cylinder installation, attachment piece installation, top disc installation, truss installation and inspection and acceptance. The supporting device is suitable for supporting of silo top structure construction of silos with different diameters and different heights, adopts an assembly mode, has the characteristics of light weight, turnover, high safety, rapid construction and high economy, has a cost advantage in silo engineering construction, and can promote standardization and standardization of a silo top structure supporting system; the installation method can safely and effectively achieve the purpose of installation and construction of the supporting platform.
