The invention discloses a honeycomb ceramic material for automobile exhaust treatment, a preparation method and application. The honeycomb ceramic material is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 60 to 80 parts of coarse silicon nitride, 10 to 30 parts of fine silicon nitride, 1 to 10 parts of LiZr0. 25V2O6 pre-sintered powder, 1 to 3 parts of CeNb2O7 pre-sintered powder and 5 to 15 parts of binding agent. The preparation method of the honeycomb ceramic material comprises the following steps: S1, mixing coarse silicon nitride, fine silicon nitride, LiZr0. 25V2O6 pre-sintered powder, CeNb2O7 pre-sintered powder and a binding agent, and carrying out extrusion molding to prepare a honeycomb-shaped green body; and S2, calcining the dried honeycomb-shaped green body in a muffle furnace under the protection of inert gas to prepare the honeycomb ceramic material for automobile exhaust treatment. The prepared silicon carbide honeycomb ceramic material is high in porosity and good in automobile exhaust treatment effect.
