The invention discloses a protective fence assembly of a cooling tower. The protective fence assembly comprises transverse fence units, longitudinal fence units and vertical connecting pieces. The transverse fence unit comprises an upper transverse fence, a middle transverse fence, a lower transverse fence and transverse stand columns. The transversely-connected vertical wall of the upper transverse guardrail, the transversely-connected vertical wall of the middle transverse guardrail and the lower transverse guardrail are all detachably connected with the transverse stand columns. The ends, close to the vertical connecting pieces, of the transverse connecting vertical walls of the upper transverse guardrail and the middle transverse guardrail and the ends, close to the vertical connecting pieces, of the lower transverse guardrail are all detachably connected with the transverse connecting walls. Each longitudinal fence unit comprises an upper longitudinal fence, a middle longitudinal fence, a lower longitudinal fence and longitudinal stand columns. The upper longitudinal guardrails, the middle longitudinal guardrails and the lower longitudinal guardrails are all detachably connected with the longitudinal stand columns. The device can be conveniently disassembled and replaced, the field installation difficulty can be reduced, and field installation is facilitated.
