The invention relates to the technical field of building construction, in particular to a supporting structure and a construction method thereof. The supporting structure comprises an abutting piece and a supporting piece, wherein one end of the abutting piece abuts against the side face of the formwork; the adjusting part is arranged on the main reinforcing steel bar and has a first state of moving relative to the main reinforcing steel bar and a second state of being fixed relative to the main reinforcing steel bar; wherein the adjusting piece is connected with the other end of the abutting piece, and the abutting piece is suitable for adjusting the distance between the abutting piece and the main steel bar through the adjusting piece. According to the supporting structure provided by the invention, the abutting pieces abut against the supporting formwork, so that blocky traces with large areas are avoided, the attractiveness of the formed main body is improved, the adjusting pieces are arranged on the main body reinforcing steel bars to adjust the distance between the abutting pieces and the main body reinforcing steel bars, and the ends, close to the formwork, of the abutting pieces are located on the same plane; the influence on the surface flatness of the forming main body due to deformation of partial areas after the template is mounted and reinforced is prevented.
