The invention provides a box girder demolition process. The box girder demolition process comprises the following steps that a bridge is cut section by section in the bridge direction to form multiple demolition sections; the demolition section in the safe demolition area is cut section by section in the direction perpendicular to the bridge direction, so that the demolition section is divided into a plurality of beam pieces; the multiple beam pieces in the same dismantling section are divided into at least two beam piece sets, supports are arranged at the two ends of each beam piece set respectively, and the multiple beam pieces in the same beam piece set are fixed into a whole through the supports; a lifting appliance is connected to the support so that the two beam piece sets can be moved to a collecting area in sequence; and blasting demolition is conducted on the demolition section outside the safe demolition area. According to the box girder dismantling process, the dismantling section is divided into the multiple girder pieces, the multiple girder pieces are divided into the two girder piece sets through the two sets of supports, the supports are connected with the lifting appliance, the beam piece sets are lifted by the lifting appliance in two times, the multiple girder pieces are transferred in two times, and the dismantling efficiency of a bridge is greatly improved.
