The invention provides a modular waterproof exhaust assembly for a building roof and an installation method thereof.The modular waterproof exhaust assembly comprises a modular waterproof plate arranged above a heat preservation layer and provided with an exhaust hole, and the exhaust hole communicates with the heat preservation layer; the module connecting assembly is arranged above the modular waterproof plate and is used for connecting the modular waterproof plate; the module connecting assembly is provided with an exhaust channel, and the exhaust channel is communicated with the exhaust hole; and the cap is used for connecting the module connecting assembly. The modularized waterproof assembly is ingeniously integrated with the roof exhaust function, the heat preservation layer, the exhaust holes formed in the modularized waterproof plate and the exhaust channels formed in the module connecting assemblies are communicated, gas in the heat preservation layer is exhausted, water vapor evaporation or expansion is prevented from causing swelling of waterproof materials, and the service life of the waterproof roof is prolonged.
