A flood sinking prevention square directly communicated with a public area of a subway station comprises a ground layer and an underground layer, the ground layer is higher than surrounding roads, an open-air opening is formed in the ground layer and communicated with the underground layer, one side of the underground layer is used for being communicated with the subway station, and the other side of the underground layer is used for being communicated with the public area of the subway station. A circle of closed flood-preventing retaining wall capable of bearing lateral water pressure is arranged on the ground layer around the open-air opening, a communicating platform is arranged between the underground layer and the subway station public area, the communicating platform is higher than the underground layer and inclines towards the sinking square, intercepting ditches are arranged on the periphery of the underground layer, and the intercepting ditches are communicated with the open-air opening. The underground layer is provided with a rainwater pump station. The overground layer is responsible for preventing external flood from being poured into the sinking square, the underground layer is responsible for drainage and serves as a buffer drainage pool, flood disasters with certain intensity are resisted, time is bought for enabling drainage facilities of the subway station, and the functions of resisting the flood disasters and relieving the burden of a drainage system of the subway station are achieved.
