The invention relates to dry-mixed mortar, in particular to Yellow River sand thermal insulation dry-mixed mortar for an inner wall and a preparation process thereof. The invention discloses Yellow River sand heat-insulation dry-mixed mortar for an inner wall and a preparation process thereof. The preparation process comprises the following steps: performing surface modification pretreatment on Yellow River sand; preparing an acrylic acid-urea resin blended emulsion; spraying and wrapping the glass beads with the blended emulsion; coating the modified water-quenched manganese slag with the styrene-acrylic-organic silicon emulsion; enhancing and modifying the polypropylene fiber; and preparing the thermal insulation dry-mixed mortar. The acrylic acid-urea resin blended emulsion is used for spraying and wrapping the glass beads, a thin film with high crosslinking density can be formed on the glass beads, the styrene-acrylic-organic silicon emulsion is used for coating and modifying the water-quenched manganese slag, a water-resistant thin film can be formed on the surface of the water-quenched manganese slag, and the modified water-quenched manganese slag is doped into the thermal insulation mortar, so that the thermal insulation mortar has good thermal insulation performance. Part of space of the glass beads is occupied, the interface area between the glass beads and a cement paste base body is reduced, air holes are reduced, and therefore the compressive strength of the mortar is improved.
