The invention discloses a hydrophilic and hydrophobic interphase water mist collecting material and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: A, cleaning a glass sheet, and drying the glass sheet in a drying oven for later use; b, firstly adding polyvinyl alcohol into distilled water, stirring and dissolving to obtain a solution A, then adding agar into the solution A, stirring and dissolving to obtain a solution B, and performing freezing-unfreezing circulation on the solution B to obtain double-network hydrogel; c, respectively heating and dissolving the carnauba wax and the beeswax in absolute ethyl alcohol, respectively performing ultrasonic treatment to obtain a carnauba wax-ethanol emulsion and a beeswax-ethanol emulsion, and finally performing ultrasonic mixing on the carnauba wax-ethanol emulsion and the beeswax-ethanol emulsion to obtain a mixed emulsion; d, a shielding piece is laid on the surface of the double-network hydrogel, the mixed emulsion is evenly sprayed to the upper surface of the double-network hydrogel, heat treatment is conducted after spraying is completed, and finally the shielding piece is taken down. Most of the preparation materials are edible raw materials, and purification treatment of collected water can be reduced.
