The invention discloses a sliding structure for a main cable saddle of a suspension bridge. The sliding structure for the main cable saddle of the suspension bridge comprises a plurality of main cable saddle bodies, a lower sliding surface sliding plate, a mounting plate and a lower bearing plate, the bottoms of all the main cable saddle bodies are connected with the top of a lower sliding face sliding plate, and the side face of the lower sliding face sliding plate is connected with the side face of a temporary sliding plate. The lower sliding surface sliding plate comprises a plurality of independent small sliding plates which are distributed in the axial direction in pairs, three lower sliding surface sliding plate oil storage grooves are formed in the front face of each small sliding plate, and the three lower sliding surface sliding plate oil storage grooves are arranged in an inverted triangle mode. The distance between the two transverse lower sliding surface sliding plate oil storage grooves is larger than the distance between the two inclined lower sliding surface sliding plate oil storage grooves, and a sliding plate bonding hole is formed in the top of the mounting plate. According to the design, the phenomenon that the sliding plate with the lower sliding surface falls off in the sliding process in the past is avoided, and safety accidents caused by friction force reduction are avoided.
