The invention discloses a steel frame wallboard connecting system of a steel structure building and a connecting method of the steel frame wallboard connecting system, and the steel structure building comprises a plurality of steel structure columns and a plurality of steel frame wallboards which are vertically assembled along the adjacent steel structure columns. The connecting system comprises a plurality of pairs of cantilever plates used for being connected to the opposite outer sides of the steel structure columns so that the ends of the left-right adjacent steel frame wallboards can be erected. The plurality of groups of cushion blocks are used for being cushioned between the upper and lower adjacent steel frame wallboards and between the bottommost steel frame wallboard and the ground so as to transfer vertical loads; and the first sealing bodies are used for filling and being connected between the two adjacent steel frame wallboards. Through the arrangement of the connecting system, the construction efficiency is improved.
