A simple horizontal moving anti-falling device relates to the technical field of building construction, not only can conveniently lock a steel wire rope, but also is convenient to assemble and easy to disassemble, and can enable a safety rope to be stably and effectively locked on the steel wire rope. The simple horizontal moving anti-falling device comprises safety rope hanging mechanisms fixed to a wall, the safety rope hanging mechanisms on the two sides are connected through a steel wire rope, and a safety rope horizontal anti-falling mechanism is fixed to the steel wire rope; two fixing pieces are arranged on the outer side of the safety rope horizontal anti-falling mechanism, each fixing piece is provided with two bolts located on the two sides of the upper portion, and the bolts are used for fixing the buckles and preventing the steel wire rope from running out.
