The invention relates to a movable platform for ditching of an excavator and a platform moving method of the movable platform. Comprising a platform body, and auxiliary fixing assemblies are arranged at the two ends of the platform body; the platform body comprises a platform plate, end wing plates are arranged at the two ends of the platform plate, and mounting grooves are formed in the upper portions of the end wing plates. The auxiliary fixing assembly comprises a wedge-shaped connecting plate, the wedge-shaped connecting plate is located in the mounting groove, a plurality of plug pins are arranged at the bottom of the wedge-shaped connecting plate, a plurality of through holes are formed in the end wing plate, and the middles of the plug pins are located in the through holes respectively; a lifting assembly is further arranged on the platform body, the lifting assembly ascends in the lifting state and descends in the non-lifting state, and the top face of the lifting assembly is not higher than the upper surface of the platform body. According to the movable platform for ditching of the excavator and the platform moving method of the movable platform, the structure is simple and reliable, the environment adaptability is high, arrangement is convenient and rapid, and the excavator can be located over a groove to conduct excavation construction.
