The invention discloses a fabricated rectangular steel column auxiliary mounting system which comprises a mounting frame and a sliding steel plate, the mounting frame is arranged at the joint of an upper-layer rectangular steel column and a lower-layer rectangular steel column in a sleeving mode, and the upper end of the mounting frame is used for guiding the suspended upper-layer rectangular steel column to enter the mounting frame to be connected with the lower-layer rectangular steel column; the sliding steel plates are arranged between the inner side of the mounting frame and the rectangular steel columns, and the sliding steel plates can be driven to slide on the surfaces of the rectangular steel columns in the height direction and expose or seal joints of the upper-layer rectangular steel columns and the lower-layer rectangular steel columns in the mounting frame; the invention further discloses a using method of the assembly type rectangular steel column auxiliary mounting system. According to the assembly type rectangular steel column auxiliary installation system and the construction method thereof, dependence on tower crane equipment during assembly type rectangular steel column construction can be reduced, the installation precision of the rectangular steel column is effectively improved, meanwhile, the construction efficiency is greatly improved, and the construction cost is reduced.
