The preparation method comprises the following steps: firstly, respectively preparing a mixed solution A (comprising magnesium sulfate heptahydrate and water) and a dry mixture B (comprising light calcined magnesia, coal gangue and loess), and mixing and uniformly stirring the mixed solution A and the dry mixture B; and then molding, demolding and curing. The method has the characteristics of waste resource utilization, energy conservation, environmental protection, simple production process, low cost and the like, and the compressive strength of the prepared cured loess in 28d is 6.5-9.5 MPa.
