The invention discloses an anti-overturning mounting structure and method for a prefabricated box girder of a cantilever cover beam, and the structure comprises a to-be-erected box girder, the two ends of the to-be-erected box girder are used for being erected on support cushion stones at the to-be-erected positions of two cantilever cover beams respectively; the annular hanging belt is arranged on the suspended part of the cantilever cover beam in a sleeving mode and distributed on the side, provided with the short flange plate, of the to-be-erected box beam; a lifting hook at one end of the first chain hoist is hung on a wet joint reinforcing steel bar, on one side of the short flange plate, of the to-be-erected box girder, and a lifting hook at the other end of the first chain hoist is used for hooking and tightening the annular lifting belt. According to the anti-overturning mounting structure and method, the overturning moment generated by the unbalanced side of the short flange plate and the long flange plate is counteracted through the annular hanging belt and the cantilever bent cap, the anti-overturning mounting structure and method are suitable for construction of the prefabricated box girder where a fulcrum cannot be arranged, and the application range is wider.
